CK - CONDUCTIVE KERATOPLASY This is a radio-wave frequency treatment delivered to the peripheral cornea to steepen the cornea making the eye more powerful. It is best suited to improve eyes for reading, to correct low hyperopia, or for post Lasik eyes that are overcorrected. As with any surgery this is not for everybody but in the proper situation can be excellent. This technique is limited in the amount of correction it can deliver and there may be some regression which may need enhancement. The eye keeps changing which may make further surgery necessary in the future and CK does not preclude other refractive techniques.
