RLE

RLE – Refractive Lensectomy is removal of the lens of the eye when no cataract is present to change the refractive state of the eye.  People who are near-sighted or far-sighted may chose to do this before a cataract develops to see better without glasses.  Insurance of course will not cover this surgery.  RLE combined with deluxe lens technology is an excellent option for people with high refractive error who are 45 and older.
